I googled “cancel spectrum internet service” and click on the first number that popped up in the search, which appeared to be spectrum. The number led me directly to representative. This felt like a scam from the get-go. Slow, confused, unresponsive representative ended up asking for my debit card info to charge a $75 cancellation fee. He instructed me to just drop my router off at UPS and they would “take care of the rest.” I hung up and found the actual spectrum number, when I spoke with an actual representative on the new number, he said spectrum doesn’t charge a cancellation fee.
