A fake chase bank fraud prevention employee called me. From a REAL chase phone number, same number as listed on the back of the card. She had all of my information already on hands, she was verifying my transactions. Asking for OTR number for verification purpose. She was polite and seemed professional, exactly as a bank employee.

I started suspecting something, i noticed my account initiated a wire transfer of $8500 I immediately started calling chase on another line.

I got through to a Chase employee who also notice that a 2nd transfer being initiated and she stopped it.

Our call line dropped and she did NOT call me back. I started calling back immediately and. It took me OVER 2 hours to get fraud department "hot line" on the phone. Which is PATHETIC!

I’m been banking with chase for almost 20 years! Chase customer service is slow to react and respond to an ongoing fraud in progress! I informed multiple CSR’s about fraud in progress and no one seemed to have any urgency to help. Last agent kind of assured me that i will get my money back, however I am extremely worried after reading many reviews about chase not helping.
