Omg

This broke [censored] illiterate [censored] lady over here scamming people 300 dollars. Like girl are u struggling. There were nooo rentals anywhere for the whole weekend and this lady pop up saying we are a lucky caller we get a discount etc and it was sounding good. TOO GOOD. We had to run to the store and get a credit card I should have known 1. The phone number she had, had no prompts. 2. It was the same lady 3 she waited 40 minutes on the phone for us to buy a card etc

I spoke with a lady named alice with a asian accent . She said that hertz rental car was running a promotion that i needed to het a go2 bank card at cvs or walgreens and that i would be able to rent a car. When i got the card i called her back she asked for the card number my drivers license number snd the security code on the card and the zip code to the store i purchased the card at. And then she asked me for the amount on the carc. She told me that i didnt need to activate the card and she would call me back in 30 min with a confirmatiin number i told her fine. I went to the airport inside to the hertz counter and asked if they had any affilated programs he said no. So i tried calling the Go2 bank and was routed to green dot the a guy named george told menthe card wasnt actuvated yet and that he would send me a check the call was lost however he dud call me back and ingave him my address and he said he was sending the check of 350 dollars i should receuve it in 2 weeks. But honestly he sounded like a scammet as well . The lady alice called me back and told me to be patient because it was the weekend and that she was still trying to book my car i told her i knew she was a scammer that i had talked with hertz and they didnt have cinfirmstion number for ne either she hung up on me. She said her extension was 007.

I had been looking at online for a car rental and time was running out for other reasons and so due to us not having the time I rushed thru starting @Turo and seen a place called Cheap Car Rentals so I click and get an 866 number to call, not unusual to me, the site describes how it’s cheaper and gives a number I do not remember if there was an email there, I was rushing my mistake, I was leaning more towards the price to be honest, single mom habit, I see the number I call and thru the whole transaction the person (agent) stood on the phone with me and I had to go to the store and purchase this card, which I still have with a balance, and made the purchase on the phone with the card. She told me that she was ready to give me confirmation and ended the call, I immediately call back and it rings but no answer so I keep calling by the 3rd call the number was disconnected not to mention how furious I was mostly because it was for my children who wanted to spend the day together and my daughter who drives, her car was not doing well which was the reason to use a car service and that one call changed things so pls be very cautious no matter what the situation kk, and here I am to let others know and hopefully get my money back, and I hope that ppl who do these kinds of things learn not to do them again/at all !
