Type of a scam Online Purchase
On August 26, 2024, a day before departure, I received an email from them stating that the seats were unavailable and I would be refunded the money that I had paid. They acknowledged that the refund should be posted to my cash app account within 7-14 days.
It is now October, and I have not received any payment. Cash app keeps denying my dispute and I feel that I have been scammed.
I contacted spirit airlines and was informed that the merchant never attempted to book my flight and there were indeed seat available.
After speaking with numerous customer service agents at cheap e tickets, I was only provided with emails which stated that they would refund my money. They never did. Now, when I call the customer service number, it hangs up on me.
I tried to chat with them and it states that the chat is unavailable. After numerous attempts to get my refund, the merchant has not refunded me for the amount that I paid.
I have documented that the merchant did not book the tickets and promised to refund my money within 7-14 business days.
It is now months later and I still have not received a refund.
They never booked the flight, told me that the seats were unavailable, and have not issued a refund. This is a full blown scam.
