+1 (737) 610-3158 This number reached out to me for a car I listed on Craigslist, he sent me a website for a history report, and I had to pay $25 for that, don’t fall to that

This guy (from 737-610-3158) texted me and asked me
Can a you please share the OAI report ? by text or maybe by email?

Yes it's easy just check onlineautoinspection.com as the owner and you will have an option to share the details. I can give you my email or you can share by text. I did not get your name?

On a Craigslist auto listing, This person tries to get you to pay $27 for an Auto status report on your own car! That’s all he wants…for you to spend $27 on the report. He is NOT interested in buying your car. Wasted a lot of my time. Scammer. Phishing..

I listed my classic car for sale and we got a response from this guy who was interested in buying it. We had a date and time set up and then he said he wanted a VOR report and sent us to a we website to get it. We paid 27.00 for the report but didn't pay extra for the window sticker, we sent the report to him. After a few minutes we received a text message from the website stating we could get a window sticker at a discounted price of 17.00. We told him we weren't going to pay extra for a window sticker that we don't need if he wanted one he could get it himself. We haven't heard back from him since.

We believe that he might work for this web site hoping that people will go spend there money for stuff that they really don't need.
