Contacted on LinkedIn by a contact saying employment opportunity was legit with a link to apply. I applied & received in mail instruction letter & cashier's check for $2750. I was instructed to buy $2450 worth of ebay gift cards & gather purchase experience information. I was to keep $300 as my compensation after sending reports & photos of cards with PIN area scraped off. I already purchased the cards & recorded the data but decided to double check after receiving fraud warning from my credit card company. Saw similar report for Walmart gift cards on internet. All contact has been by Todd Ian, HR Manager, CheckMark Inc., www.checkmarkinc.com. There is a CheckMark Inc but website is www.checkmark.com

Received an email from a prior client, suggested I try this out for extra income. “Secret shopper”

I foolishly trusted it after working with this person in the past. I believed she was probably scammed also thru hack of email.

Clicked link and put my info. I immediately received text message from this CheckMark people. After that I had a feeling it was a scam. I then blocked the phone number.

Today 6/12/18 I received priority mail envelope with check and instructions.

None of the names match, on check, on envelope, and on letter.
