The ad appeared on my Facebook feed. It said certain Chico’s stores were going out of business. (Since I shop at the one at our local mall, I was interested) It said certain styles would be $9.90 each with free shipping. I started shopping and adding items. It seemed like no matter how many items I added, the price still stayed ridiculously low. So I stopped before I entered my credit card number and researched it a little. Now they are emailing me and asking for me to complete my order, so I blocked the email address.

They appear to be from China. Originally it was some type of Chinese game/gambling site. Now it has Chico’s clothing that exactly matches the real Chico’s store. It only has 5 reviews from “customers” but their photos in the clothing look professionally taken. It looks like it was started in April of 2023.

July 13, 2023 - received sale email from Chico's. I ordered 2 items priced at $9.90 each. It's now August 19 and my items have still not arrived! Attempts to contact them @ [email protected] are returned as undeliverable. The email appeared to be legitimate and I had seen the items in my local store.
