Please help this is their number 100%. We need to find out who this is. They know who I am because they blocked my number my new number. I can send you some evidence that I have but honestly, this is enough.

Text from scammer says it was chime and did I make a purchase for 274.00 at a Walmart in Texas, reply yes or no. I replied No. immediately got a call from caller ID chime bank. Person said they were Jason Adams from Chime Fraud Dept. Proceeded to “help” me secure and protect my account. Supposedly removed the thief from my account access. Emails were involved stating that my Chine card had been attached to Samsung Pay. Then “Jason” helped to remove the card from Samsung pay. Received an email confirming my card was removed from a Samsung Pay. Within an hour or so, $3800.00 was stolen from my account. Two fraudulent purchases totaling 3704.60 were made at 2 separate King Sooper Grocery stores in Centennial, Colorado and another made at King Soopers in Highlands Ranch,Colorado. The stores 15-minutes away from each other and the transactions were made 24- minutes apart. I reported the fraudulent charges to Chime Bank, the BBB, my local sheriff’s department, FBI-IC3 department, Federal Trade Commission, and contacted the actual grocery stores, who then gave me the counties and sheriff department numbers in those counties, all within 1 day. I hope these thieves are caught. Chime needs a better security system set up for their customers.

I received an email from Chime informing me that my new debit/banking card was on it's way. I was informed in a sequential email that I was now able to start virtual spending online immediately until my card arrived. I received the first email on November 18, 2020 welcoming me. On November 19, 2020 I was sent the email stating to start virtual spending. Unfortunately I only just checked my email this morning November 20, 2020 so of course I immediately try calling this company to report fraud as Ive never even heard of this bank before and did not open an account with them. No answer. Just recording and replays, no live person after call after call! I email them, panicking, exclamation marks, reporting it as fraud and my response from them was they could not close it unless I took a picture of my drivers license front and back and with me in the photo to verify it was me. NO way! They should not be requesting my personal info via email and I am afraid to give that out. They didn't need that to open the account obviously. I told them I was calling the FBI and reporting to ScamPulse.com because they won't help me. No one will help me and I didn't open this account. They wont answer the phone but can grant people access to start spending virtual money? This business is shady! I don't know what to do. I'm in a panic!

- Palm Coast, FL, USA

On 9/17/2020 I received a text message that said to download the Chime mobile app and activate my new debit card. The thing is I didn't open an account with them and I hadn't requested a debit card. I contacted them and they kept asking me to send them a picture of my license and my last 4 digits of my social security number. Then on 9/21/2020 I received a debit card from them in the mail in their official envelope with my name and address on it. I again contacted them and was told to send them a picture of my license and the last 4 digits of my social security number so that they could verify that indeed I had not opened an account with them. I saw posts online when I did a search that they are part of a paypal scam and that if you activate the card they send you when you haven't requested one that they will use your money.

My money was moved out of my account and transferred to someone named Antonio C. Chime is unable to anything about this transfer. To me it sounds like this trash bank is on something shady. My money is just gone and I have no recourse other than talking to some Chime CSR who tells me they're sorry over and over again.

- Saint Louis, MO, USA

The scammer posed as my bank and said that I had won a sweepstakes. They had the banks emblem an everything it looked legit. My bank does sweepstakes. So they asked me to verify my email and account number password and the code sent to my phone against my better judgment I gave them the information. The bank is Chime bank and said that they are aware of this scam but never informed anyone of it. I just want people to be aware of this scam.

- Birmingham, AL, USA

My card was stolen, I reported it imeeditly.

I contacted chime and was told to wait until it settle to file a dispute. first red flag!

Well i waited submitted my dispute and had to wait 4 days to get told the transaction did not look out of the normal so the dispute was denied.

This was my first ever dispute and shows the professionalism of Chime! They are con artist just trying to take any dime they can.
