Got me as well

I just got hit with and almost 10K charge from Chime3_Debit P2P, I reported it and my bank says tough cookies we mail you a form you fill it out and send in back within 10 days and then we look into the issue. F me I am out 10K from these slimeballs scamming me, at least for the near future, my bank and this whole thing sucks.

Just discovered an electronic wire transfer of $5000 in my checking account made to chimes3 p2p without my knowledge or consent. I don't recall ever having anything to do with chimes or their mobile payment processor systems. I've never even heard of chimes until some random stranger decided to steal money from my bank account. All this happened while I was asleep. I woke up at 4am to a balance that was $5000 less than normal so waited until 8am sharp to called my bank to freeze and shut down that compromised checking account and open a new one and transferred any remaining balance to that new account. The fraud department is currently processing this fraudulent charge and I'll be reimbursed within 10 business days. Everyone, keep a close eye on your bank account and even closer eye on any mobile processor app (chime, cashapp, and even paypal) so that your money don't go missing when you're counting sheep sleeping. It really makes me mad that I worked my [censored] off for that $5000 and some random hacker on the internet took it with a few clicks on a keyboard. I'm just glad this scammer didn't completely clean out my bank account and I caught it as soon as this illegal activity was committed because I check my balance every day. Stay vigilant. USAF veteran.

Recently discovered an electronic payment of $5000.00 in my checking account made to Chime3 p2p to supposedly open an account with Chime3 p2p without my knowledge or authorization. I do not recall ever having solicited, opened an account, done business of any kind or otherwise having made such a payment to Chime3 p2p. As explained before, the only thing I can surmise is that either Chime3 p2p, someone associated with or pretending to be with Chime3 p2p somehow gained access to my card/bank account information and withdrew this money without my knowledge or authorization.

Yeah, same [censored] happened to me too. How these Chime scammers got a hold of my bank account information, who will ever know? Good thing I caught it early because I check my bank account balance every day. I didn't even know what a chime was until some hacker decided to steal my money I worked hard for with a few keystrokes on a keyboard. The only p2p app I signed up for was CashApp, but now I even cancelled that app and it was connected to my old compromised bank account. I don't trust any p2p app anymore and I'm still scratching my head on how these scammers got a hold of my bank account information. The old bank account that was compromised was frozen and shut down, and I have a new bank account number now. Now I'm more careful than ever signing up for anything online. I work in the IT field and I thought I had everything under wrapped but I guess not. -USAF veteran.
