This is crazy

This lady has scammed me out of $1000.00 for the purchase of a car. She gave me the sob story about her son dying. She is using eBay to scam people, or maybe they know about it, but I'm getting my money back come he'll or high water. Please email me if you have any information on this person. [email protected]

An older woman (based on profile photo) named Brenda listed an $800 Nissan Maxima. So I sent a Facebook message that I was interested and immediately got a reply to send her an email at [email protected] which was unusual but I did. She then gave a huge sob story about a dead 26 yr old son and that she had to do the transaction via eBay. She asked for personal info and said “EBay” would contact me hahaha.

Sr Security Engineer here. If asked to give your personal to anyplace other than Facebook / Ebay it is 100% a scam!

Chleo palmer is trying to sell me a 2010 buick enclave. I did not know it was going to go this way? She gave me a sob story that it was her 26 yr old sons car who was killed 3 months ago. I told her i will not purchase a car i cannot see first. I am try to verify that this truly is a scam? These are the instructions given to me for purchase.

found a truck online for a descent price, husband died 4 months ago, in the military getting ready to head out of country need to sell. Seller told they were part of eBay Buyer Protection Plan and we had to go through eBay and purchase so many eBay cards to make the purchase. That sent a really red flag and then contacted BBB.
