was emailed by "[email protected]" after filling out a web based form on https://siberiankitten.company.com/ looking for a siberian cat. I asked what cattery he was a breeder at and he said Cartier Siberians - there is a real Cartier Siberians that I recently contacted to verify they are not affiliated. I asked if he had any adult cats available and he said yes and sent photos of four different cats. I was interested in one, and he then promptly sent a video and additional photos of her. I used the name Cartier Siberians to verify that he was a registered cat breeder, but that is not his business. He provided information on her temperament, asked me about if I have any pets and additional information on me as a pet owner, and we talked on the phone. I sent him a payment of $1300 which he said has to be done via Zelle or Apple Pay. The first number I tried didn't work because he said his cashier hadn't set up that account, so I ended up sending it via Apple Pay to 2028405740. I then asked if he could ship her on October 29th and he said yes, but that he could not give me any additional information until the morning of. Then I received an email from "[email protected]" with a valid website and tracking information (WPC056788522635-CARGO) at https://gurusnetfreightlogistics.com. I then got an email yesterday saying that she was exhausted and weak from travel, and therefore they needed money for crates, a vaccine fee (some sort of sedative/anti-pressure medication, and an insurance fee in the amount of $1600, 85% of which would be reimbursable once we received our cat. So I sent that amount via apple pay to 7372106476. Then today 10/30 I got another email saying that her flight would be delayed due to weather conditions and that they needed additional money for food and more meds for $350, at which point I said that I would need proof that she is in transport and looked up additional info and realized it is a scam.
