Type of a scam Rental
I emailed the poster and got a response a few days later. The apartment owner, "Chris Mark" said he is overseas and is looking for someone to rent while he is away in the UK on a 6 month contract.
Everything seemed good until he told me he is renting through airbnb. Airbnb has long term rentals but Chris's second email (following up on my interest) said I had to pay him directly, and then a airbnb rep will arrange showing me the property, giving me the keys etc.
I googled this scam and it is a pretty popular one. The last email he sent also included the attached passport pic, which is also another well known part of the scam according to what I have googled.
