Type of a scam Employment
After exchanging hellos he told me the company name; Chronus Health. He asked me my name and location. I proceeded to look up the company on the ScamPulse.com website. There was no such thing. He then sent me a link to the company's website; www.chronushealth.com. He sent me a list of Duties and Responsibilities- answer phone calls and schedule appointments for multiple providers. -respond to new clients texts from our website. -handle cancellation and rescheduling of appointments. -connect with therapists regarding client scheduling. -input client data into our EMR (intakeQ) -Assist therapists in providing superbills benefits. -post articles on the blog. -take articles and turn them into social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, and Google posts. Do additional research or admin tasks as needed. Occasional personal appointment setting. -work closely with Director of Finance and Operations, Administrative Staff, and other content area specialists where needed. -Assist Administrative office staff in office operations.
He then asked me if I could handle the job duties. I said yes and he stated that I was to undergo a one-week training program from a training supervisor to enhance my working skills with the programs accurately. That the supervisor attached to me online would assign logs of duty daily and I would be required to work according to instructions using Microsoft Office tools. It went on to say, this is strictly an online and work from home job, working hours are flexible and work from anywhere of my choice. The pay is $35-$50 per hour during full working hours. The training is $25 per hour and will be getting a payment weekly via check or direct deposit working 20-40 hours weekly. I would be a full time employee and not an independent contractor. Benefits: Health, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance, Employee Wellness and 401K plans. Paid time off and Holidays with Generous Company Discounts. They asked me if I was currently employed and if I could commit 8 hours daily to the job and company. They asked me how much training I think I would need to become a productive employee.
This is when I realized that I have had this exact conversation before with another company that turned out to be fake and scammed me out of $5000. When i called them out on this they then deleted the conversation! Also note that their website has NO contact information (and is quite generic).
