This Web site advertises Maltese puppies for sale but there are no puppies. They take your deposit, furnish you with phony ownership papers, say they will ship the pups then ask for remaining payment before supplying any type of confirmation that a purchase has been made. IT’S A SCAM there are no puppies.

Fell upon a website advertising a litter of purebread Maltese puppies that are AKC certified. We inquired on a puppy and recieved an email right away with information and pictures and a video. Then we received a text message from a California number. We exchanged several texts and the business seemed legit. They offered to ship us the puppies for not much more than the asking price, however we wanted to pick the puppies up ourself. In order to pick the puppies up, we had to make a deposit on each puppy. Because we were sure this was a legit in home breeder, we went ahead and zelled the $600 through our bank. Our first red flag was when our bank made the payment pending, the breeder told us to tell our bank they were a family member. Then we started to question if this was a legit in home breeder. We had a family member inquire on the same puppy and the breeder told her that the puppy was still available, ever after we had made a deposit. When I confronted the breeder regarding the situation, I was told to relax. That I would get my puppy. We asked for proof of AKC registration and vet health, and was told we would get those at pickup. We requested to receive text copies instead and was completely ignored. The public records for the address provided do no match the name provided for the zelle payment. We asked for a refund for our deposit as this was not setting well with any of us, and was completely ignored. We reported the email address to our bank to prevent future scams for other people.
