The scammer contacts via social media such as Instagram using the churrosNcream riverside instagram. He will send a detailed invoice that they use. He uses Zelle to collect deposit and the name on Zelle is Brian meza iniguez. He will then ask for full deposit 2 days before event and comes in person to collect check and proceeds to not show up. He coordinates with family members at the store and instructed the staff in the store to tell customers who call they aren’t associated with catering and the manager only shows up Tuesday and Wednesdays and happen to never be there on those days. The owners of the store are his family members Michael Hernandez and Janeth Hernandez.

My wife and I reached out to this churro vendor to cater for the night of our wedding. A contract was signed invoices were sent but the day of the wedding they never arrived. We’ve tried calling the catering number and the store front but they have blocked our numbers. The incident happened on June 1st 2023 and we haven’t gotten any information on getting reimbursed for the failure to show.
