About 1.5 yrs ago I was scammed by Educare centre services in a credit card interest lowering scam. On 07/11/16 I started to receive phone calls from the above company stating that this scam is in collections and I now owe almost double what was originally attempted. I lost $298.00 in the first scam. I asked for paperwork to verify charges and to have something to give to a lawyer. They finally emailed me on 8/8/16, after calling and leaving voicemails at least once a day since the initial contacting. The email is poorly written with incorrect grammar and misspellings. It is also generic, as is the company website. It also leaves out all of Educare's information (i.e. the company name is Card Services). The only correct information is my old bank acct# and the data of the withdrawal. The website is basic with about us information that states the company is based in Vermont, while the address is in Hartford, CT. This business also has only one number and gives very little information. I did notice that it seems to have started in 2015, which is when the other business disappeared. I also noticed that every caller has a very thick accent, just like the original scam. I have looked at all of my credit reports and no collection notices are on them.
