They solicited me with work from home opportunity. Asked for my DL and promised me all of my startup materials to include a computer. They offered me many references to verify their legitimacy. It was a very elaborate scheme. Then they required a $200 apple gift card to pay for my startup package. Once I had completed that things started seeming fishy so I reached back out to ask a few of the references they had given me a few more questions and I got zero responses. My husband got a little leary and Googled their # and discovered that they were a scam.

I have received three emails from three different email accounts for three different people listed as Director of Human Resources at Cigna Healthcare; while the emails do not directly originate from them. As I considered actually responding to the email which requested that I immediately go and create a google account to interview with the Director of Human Resources at Cigna Healthcare, I called the company to verify that these people were actually Director of Human Resources and of course to no avail, did said people exist. After said verification, I emailed the scammer who originally sent me the message and never heard back from them. Since, then, I have had two other attempts. I want to let everyone know who has a public resume up on online, that they are subject to being scammed by desperate people trying to collect their sensitive information. I realize that once this is publicly addressed, these scammers are going to delete their accounts, however, their efforts to pursue willing applicants are unethical and unappreciated. Please don't be fooled by random email accounts trying to get you to go into a google chat room, so they may subconsciously take unfair advantage of you.
