They gave me a microsoft teams invite link, then proceeded to conduct "an interview" via chat. Not through a call or webcam. Then after telling me that I was hired they began to ask for personal identifiable information, include my full name, home address, cell phone, email etc. All through the teams chat and not through a legitimate website or email.

I thought I was getting an part-time home based data entry job. I did not pay close attention to the emails until I had already sent a copy of driver license. Then the person wanted me to send an E-check for me scan to my mobile banking app. I informed the person that I do not mobile bank. Then the person stated will try to get a check out to me. The person has not stated when the check will come. As I go back now and take a look at the letter sent for me to sign and and email. I did an interview by Team that now also seems not right. I was doing other things at the time that I did not focus in what was right in front of me. The scammer used the www.cintas.com website. That I visited but realized I could not attain the information I needed to make this a true offer.
