I was sent an email from Karisma Clark claiming to be from the HR Department for Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. She explained to skype or use gmail hang out for an interview with [email protected]. He explained what the job duties would’ve been but gave no details on the company at all. Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. is an actual company. Mr. Parker then said I would receive a check to cover all cost of software needed for the job duties. A cashiers check was sent from Hunting National Bank for $2,988.00. I was instructed to deposit the check via ATM machine into my bank account and provide proof of the deposit. I was suspicious so I called the bank to verify if it was a genuine check issued and found out it was not.
