My computer went crazy with recorded message about virus infection & gave a phone number to Microsoft to call. So I called & was told I had a very very serious infection then I was referred to another company to fix the problem. This was Cisco company then referred to connect with yet another company Cissols LLC. They said they could fix by REMOTE so believing I was speaking with a Microsoft tech I allow remote diagnostic of the problem. One red flag I should has noticed was they DID NOT want me to go to Best Buy Geek Squad for the fix. They wanted $499 by Pay Pal or online Bank pay, I told them I would send payment next day by check but I did not intend to send a check until I verified this company. My computer has been unplugged for now until I can get to the Geek Squad. They also told me it was a Network virus not just my computer but all my household technologies. They really put the FEAR in me, but it also has enabled me to be so much more vigilant. They are really a SCAM group & need to be STOPPED IMMEDIATELY!!!!
