I wanted to call Citibank about a transaction I made that didn’t go through but was charged to my credit card, so I googled Citibank number that deal with this kind of problems, o was surprised that the call was immediately picked up by someone with an India accent , which wasn’t unusual. After explaining my problem to him , he ask for my name, address and DOB, I gave it to him, then he requested for my Citibank savings account number to refund my money , I told him the charge was not related to my savings acct but he insisted. I got suspicious and hanged up , googled the number again and called , the-same person again picked up the phone. The number is from a google site for Citibank. Citibank later confirmed that the number wasn’t their number. Even though it was listed on google
