I have applied to numerous companies online such as Indeed, Career Builder, Zip Recruiter, and Craigslist just to name a few of the most. However I received an email on February 23, 2017 from a HR Officer named Eric Gardner from Citizens Investments in which they informed me that I would be a consumer service representative that would process payments that I would receive a check of 3,500 a month and plus 5% commission. I was told to open a USAA account and transfer funds from one bank account to my account and then I would have to do money gram with the funds they processed in my account then I was required to make payments through money gram to the person who information that they gave me the first transaction went through but however the second transaction was cancelled because I was told that the amount was not accepted the second time and Eric Gardner told me they had problems with their money gram services so I obtained a refund then I went to another location as I was told to process the nest suppose to be said as a stock broker. I tried to process the third name however the transaction did not go through due to the Money Gram company told me they were suspicious of the activity and told me to obtain a refund. I am very upset because I thought I was receiving a response from one of the companies that I applied to online and I was lured into doing transactions that have caused stress,embarrassment,hurt, pain, anger and my identity possibly taken. Here is an example of the email that I received: My name is Eric Gardner. I am HR Officer at Citizen Investment LLC. On behalf of the company I am writing to thank you for your interest and I have great pleasure in sending you full information about this position. Citizen Investment LLC was established in 2010 and headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Citizen Investment LLC operates as a wholly independent, fee-only, financial advisor. Our revenues are derived solely from the fees we charge for the services we provide - not by commissions earned from selling financial products or by sharing revenue with other advisors or fund companies. Our goal is to design and implement investment strategies that achieve superior returns for our clients while providing them with personalized service. For more detailed information about the company and its general services, please visit our official website. What we offer: * There is NO fee to apply. There is NO fee to start ; * Stable monthly salary. $3,500.00 paid by your choice of check or direct deposit ; * Additional bonuses and commissions. * The position does not require training. All assignments will be sent to you as attachments to an e-mail; * Position of a Customer Service Representative is a home based; * The candidate lives and works in their own geographical area, therefore NO relocation (travelling) is required; Your responsibilities at this position will be the following: * Creating an environment of good customer service through ensuring customer transactions are processed correctly and efficiently ; * Ensures that all transactions are processed in accordance to policy and procedure as well as in a timely manner ; * Provision and monitoring of payments to the customers and the customer's profit monitoring ; * Accepting and management of the funds transfers ; * Arrangement of the transfers of further funds to investors ; * Complete and submit reports to Accounting Department ; * The funds you will be dealing with are the company's investors accrued dividends. Note: To accepting fund transfers you will have to open a separate account (Your are required to use your own bank account during probation period (8 weeks) only. After that you will be assigned to the corporate account as an authorized user ). We will review the list of banks and credit unions which are located in your city and will suggest you the best bank name to open an account there. If you already have an account from these banks then you can use an existing bank account, but we prefer if you open a separate account for the job purposes only. We will not at any point request for your banking details. We do not ask you send us these details to get the funds transferred to your account. Instead of this you will be given our company's bank account information. You will be doing money transfers yourself from the company's bank account according provided instruction. You will get necessary details for processing every transaction. The first transfer will be processed and the first assignment will be opened within 2-3 business days after account has been opened. Before processing the transfer our staffing department will perform a background check and send a request to the credit bureau. ACH network also gives insurance for our company. If something happen with the money e.g., then bank has to reimburse the money transfer. Note: The company will never send you any checks or money orders, ask you to cash them etc. You will receive the check from the company only if you prefer to be paid via the check.
