I had been looking online for loans as I have been ill and just got back to work. I had filled out an application with a few companies and one happen to be citywide lending. When I got this email I thought it looked suspicious however it did come into my work email. Long story short, I called the phone number (happen to be my payday) and called the number and talked to a person Brian Mills. I was suspicious all along however my better judgement did not prevail and I sent a $1000 money transfer to a Samantha Wright, supposedly a Insurance broker for the loan. After I did this I regretted it, this Brian guy kept calling me saying it was being approve. I google the address they gave it is a physical address in Winnipeg but not theirs, I checked the phone number and it is in Ontario somewhere (However this was all too late as I had already sent him every dime I had) Then the next day he called me and said he needed more money for insurance to proceed with the loan. I told him I was in a desperate situation when I applied for the loan and I had already gave him all my money. He said well we cant do the loan then I will get the insurance company to send your money back. I told him send me the money as email transfer as I had done as he new that was all my money. He had the nerve to yell at me say I know nothing about how business works and he would speed up me getting my money back. That was Sept 11,2015 and since then he does not answer the number and I have filed a Fraud complaint with the Calgary City police. As well you are no longer able to access the website and no money of course has EVER been refunded to me. Trust your gut instincts as I wish I had in this case. It only made my life desperate situation worse a hole I am still getting out of.
