I requested that this company come to inspect my chimney for cleaning and repair. The person came out, barely introduced himself, and had no identifiable logos on car or clothing. Looked inside my chimney for 10 seconds and told me it would be $800 to clean it. He would not go up on my roof to do a full inspection, saying he could see from the ground that nothing needed to be done. When I told him that I called him for a second opinion and that a prior company told me repairs needed to be done to the outside, he swore at me telling me that person was lying. So the $70 I paid for apparently was just for 10 seconds of work he did. How does "full inspection" equate to 10 seconds of work? That's more money than a doctor makes. To get him out of my house, I paid the "inspection fee" and then called the company three separate times to complain. I realize now that I should've refused payment, but I did not want to make the experience more combative than it already was. Each time I called I was told a manager would call me back, but have never received a call. To make matters worse, I believe this company is posting fake reviews on Google maps. The reviews come from people doing their first review, sometimes from a different state, and always posting one sentence with perfect spelling and grammar. This rarely happens on internet reviews or message boards, so it looks very fishy to me. One truthful review on the website actually mirrored the EXACT experience that I received.
