After many attempts to contact Ivan, with no response, I hired an attorney who sent him a demand letter to refund the deposit, but Ivan ignored this as well. I now have a lawsuit issued against Ivan.
I was able to contact one of his employees, who told me that Ivan laid off all of his team as he had no work to offer them. As an aside, I learned that this employee is an illegal immigrant.
Ivan, and his company, should not be trusted.
