Received a voicemail stating the mans name and a file number along with the phone number I provided as a contact number. The initial call was from 00000000, when I returned the call they asked me to verify my birthdate, social, and address so they could be sure they were talking to the right person. I told the person “Nick” that i would gladly refer him to my attorney, and requested more info from him, such as a business email, and the name of the supposed plaintiff in his pending litigation against me, both of which he would not provide unless I gave him my info. I terminated the call at that point, and he informed me they would be providing me paperwork between 3&5 today, so I offered to have law enforcement there to assist, and he simply said have a nice day and hung up.

I was first contacted by a lady (Unknown Caller ID) and she said that she was scheduled to serve me with papers tomorrow between 3pm-5pm. She couldn't tell me the address she was going to take the papers to and that I needed to call this number, 806-256-6219 and ask them about the file number that she provided me. A guy answered the phone and said "this is Eric with Civil Conflict Resolutions how can I help you". I gave him my file number and he asked to first verify my information for security reasons. He stated my date of birth which I confirmed and he knew my last four digits of my SS# which I confirmed. He said that Wells Fargo Bank was suing me for a past due balance on a checking account that I had closed back in 2009 of $237. If I didn't pay that now then I would have to go to court and pay more fees up to $810. I told him I wanted to talk to Wells Fargo and see what was going on for myself. He said to ask for the "Charge Off Department" and he gave me the checking account number. I called and talked to a lady at Wells Fargo who assured me that this was a scam and to ignore it.
