Saw ads on facebook for secret shopping for a company that was contracted by Walmart to find out if they were still selling the 12 digit gift cards. I received one check in the amount of $2350 11/7 to buy 5 gift cards from walmart for $400 each. Then they sent two more checks two days later for $2450 each to buy 10 gift cards for $400 each. They wanted to know the 12 digits on the gift cards. I provided the digits to a man named Paul Newton. The gift cards were all used except one. I spoke to a man at Walmart in the fraud department who stated that only one card had $200. They froze it and were able to refund me the $200 which I deposited in the bank. I called the police who were not able to help me but I made a report. They called it "theft by deception". Paul sent me an additional 4 checks. One was from Pink Logistics in CA and another from Anthony Holloway in Enola, PA and wanted me to buy more gift cards which I didn't.

The bank ended up taking the money out of my savings account which has hurt me financially. These were all made out as cashier's checks.
