Hello, I'm Mrs. Nikko Isham One of the hiring managers of (Grand Rounds Health)Your resume was reviewed on CareerJobBoard by our Talent acquisition team and you are qualified for an interview for the position of an Executive Assistant... Please reply to this text with (YES I AM INTERESTED) So I can provide you with more details regarding the positions
Text:
I need you to add your online interview manager,
Mr. Khaja Hamilton to your contact list on Wire via searching username: khamilton1 for commencement on your interview and your interview verification code...
Send him an invite and a message with your interview code to commence interview.
Next, the interview seemed legit and they need to send a check cover equipment. The check is fake.
I got a "confirmation code" to send to Mrs. Ann George. I got in contact with "her" and we introduced ourselves.
I was asked all the right questions: I am at least 18y/o, can I legally work in the US, etc...
Then when the interview questions started (at 7:49pm on a Saturday), I was asked normal interview questions.
I started to notice a couple grammar errors but didn't think much of it. I ended up being a "perfect fit for the position" and was welcomed to the team.
At first, my hiring bonus was $100, then it was $150. I was told I'd get a "supplies check" sent to me via FedEx and that I would need to keep a receipt of all my transactions. Also that a third party vender would be installing some type of automated time keeping on my work laptop. I was also supposed to get a work cell.
At first, my work laptop could be a certain Mac or a certain HP.
Then it started to get weird, it was almost like they had forgotten what kind of equipment I was supposed to get. They also said I had to purchase the equipment through the same third party vender. So once the funds were available I needed to contact them and pay them through zelle or Apple pay.
It seemed too good to be true. I was only asked for my name, address, and an emergency contact.
The more I thought about the more strange it seemed. I saw that the actual company was legit, but doing an interview through messaging and nothing at all verbally over the phone started to not seem normal. I slept on it and then googled "ableto healthcare" and thrn I saw "scams" so I clicked on that and it brought me here.
This all happened last night.
I sent another msg this morning asking if FedEx delivers on holidays. We'll see if they actually send that check out.
Makes me feel alot better knowing I wasn't the only one that fell for it.
Shame on them. There's a special place in HELL for these [censored]ing [censored]heads.

It sounded like it could have been a great job, but after all the red flags, I know it is a scam. Please look into this and shut them down, so no one else is taken in.
I also noticed that several of his comments were deleted by him. When I asked about them, he said they were duplicate comments and he didn't want to confuse me. I know they weren't duplicates.
The person who initially reached out was Roxanne Carter who texted me from this number: (332) 330-9421. She instructed me to download the Wire Secured messenger app and provided an interview code to be interviewed by Khalid Hamilton.
I did the interview yesterday with Khalid through instant messaging on Wire Secure and just received an email this morning that I was accepted for the position, which requires that I provide a picture of my passport or drivers license. I'm hesitant to do so because something seems off.
