I have been using Ziprecruiter for maybe 6 weeks now. I researched Ziprecruiter and didn't find much info. I asked a friend and they didn't have a negative experience, so I thought I'd try it. At first, I thought too much personal info was required for account set-up. I thought THAT was a red-flag. In comparison to other job boards, Ziprecruiter requires excessive information. Too bad, Ziprecruiter doesn't handle their employers in the same manner. Today, I got SCAMMED FROM THE INFORMATION THAT I PROVIDED THROUGH ZIPRECRUITER. I think it would be great, if rather than just posting jobs from whoever will give you credit information, someone concerns their self with the facts that pertain to a real facility and actual company. Perhaps having a scheduled interview with prospective employers/recruiters, and for the purpose of this interview, mandating that the phone number provided be a landline and not a cell or google phone number. Also, requiring a fax with company letterhead and a tax id. number, that ALL REAL COMPANIES HAVE!! I have already began to get this info out to expose the SCAM that wasn't prevented and the job-seekers that are at risk and not safeguarded by ZIPRECRUITER. Hopefully, in the future when someone searches for info on Ziprecruiter or Charles River Pharmaceutical Inc., this review will come UP. Below, I am including the original email that I received.
