I applied through Careerbuilder.com for an open position. I was contacted for an interview first by email listed in the complaint Francis Manny, then directed to connect with the HR manager James Ong via Skype or other variations of personal contact. Here are the email addresses used : [email protected] and [email protected]. The email had a Charter communications logo and looks plausible. Like the other complaint listed regarding Charter Communications employment job offer fraud- the pay did not match the job description. Once I received the offer letter the job title was misspelled on the signature line and a push to print a check to deposit by mobile by Skype communication. Intook no additional action with the supposed HR manager and I severed my Skype connection and made the scam report. I will say when I attempted to call Spectrum through their 800 number I could not get any helpful information about the offer itself or the email address of the sent job offer and verification of the HR manager’s name through the sales line. I tried to send an email to a Spectrum staff member using their websites and have not got a response so far, but it has only been a few hours since I sent the email.
