I was called with a $5,000 loan offer which I do need at this time. They need $50 to activate the loan and then the $5,000 would come via MoneyGram. The $50 was sent using a STEAM Card for $50. I got that far. Then I was told that the money would come from California and that Ohio requires a $200 tax to be paid before the $5,000 MG funds would be paid, and the amount paid would be $5,250 which covers both payments. I don't have $200. I stopped and am reporting this. Alex Burger is listed as CEO on GE Capital Finance loan conditions and agreement which I completed yesterday. Martin Davis was my loan officer and he assured me all was well, but said he was working from California. The interest cost is $300 for a 36 month loan. Most fair. However, if I pay the $200, will it come or will I lose both the $200 and the $50 and have nothing?
