I was called by the number provided it first was an automated call...then it said to press 1 to speak with someone regarding the situation. I was then transferred to a man that asked how my day was and I said ok. Then I asked who am I speaking with he said oh ma'am this is Green Mountain Power. I said so you're saying I am overdue on my bill...he said let me see what's the name on the account I said I think in my husbands name which is Stephen Heller...and he said and you are Liesha correct I said "I am" (which is weird he knew my name) then he said it looks like you owe $292.16 or your power will be interrupted. I said that's weird cause I pay every bill the day I get them and looking back in my checkbook I paid just 2 weeks ago and it's not that amount so I am going to call Green Mountain Power myself...I hung up and called them and they said it was a scam because I didn't owe anything.
