Claiming to be Scipher Medicine Reports & Reviews (4)

Day 1 - Received this text message “Hello, I am Mr Henson Cramer from Scipher Medicine Corporation. Your resume has been reviewed from indeed.com and you have made it to the NEXT STEP for the job opening for Data Entry Position. Are you interested ?” I responded, “yes”. They texted back “Okay, Invite Mrs Lucy Kasper On Gmail Hangout with ([email protected]) or kindly setup a Gmail account (www.gmail.com) while you proceed by downloading google hangout (www.google.com/hangouts). Your Job ID is (SMCH-HH9Q).She will be expecting to hear from you soon. Best of luck.” I said “Awesome! Thank you so much!“

Next I messaged Mrs Lucy Kasper through google hangout as requested. Mrs Lucy Kasper asked typical interview questions about education, experience, why I’m a good fit for the position, etc. She explained the positions responsibilities, and benefits, then asked if I was still interested. I said yes. She said she was sending my information from the interview to her superiors and would get back to me. Shortly after she said congratulations, and offered the position. I accepted and said thank you. She then explained the interview was over and that I needed to add and message the Training Supervisor, Mr Ted Mellors, the next morning at 8:00am.

Day 2 - Messaged Mr Ted Mellors and introduced myself. He responded introducing himself, his job position, and explained the job position I was being hired for, that training would start as soon as I got the necessary materials and that they would be sending a check via USPS to cover all expenses, and in the meantime fill out more official paperwork with my personal information. After I completed the paperwork, he requested that I message him again the next morning at 8:00am.

Day 3 - I messaged Ted Mellors, he confirmed that the check had been sent, forwarded the tracking number to me, and said I needed to look out for it. He then assigned the first training task, a word document with 3 questions requiring 500 word responses to each question - due by 2pm.

Day 4 - Mr Ted Mellors said the check was out for delivery, and I needed to let him know when I got it, then assigned the next training task of 500 word responses to another set of 3 questions. Time after, I received the check via USPS in an envelope, contents shown in the attached file. The check was written out to me for $4,700, with a memo that read “Personal Liability - Bodily Injury, GEMMA KEL”. There was a letter along with the check from Mr Peeler Migirov, Payment Officer.

I took the check to the bank, and asked them if they could verify the senders account - they said the check was a copy of an actual check printed on regular white paper.

I recieved a text message stating my resume was found on indeed and that I was to contact someone on hangouts and then on skype.

- Chino, CA, USA

I was contacted initially by someone who asked if I was still interested in the data entry position, "I had recently applied online". I responded that I was so that person had me add another person on google hangouts. The other person I added had me add another person who got me to fill out an application with my signature and my social security number. After that they tried to get me to purchase a $300 ebay gift card for what I was told was technology that I needed to do my job.

- Kalamazoo, MI, USA

I applied for a Data Entry Work from Home position on Indeed.com LinkedIn and received a phone call from a 1888-948-6398 saying they reviewed my application from Indeed.com and referred me to a woman named Crista Tinson to then follow through with an interview on Google Hangouts which I proceeded to do. She contacted me and ask several questions about my experience and things of that nature. Then she said I would need to contact a Ted Mellors to proceed as he would be my supervisor. I then was instructed to contact him through his email address [email protected] through google hangouts as well. He responded quickly and gave me instructions to fill out an application and send it back to him. After receiving this information from me I was asked a series of questions and then told that I would begin training. And to ensure my training I would be sent a check to be able to purchase company equipment. The check was sent to me and I was given instructions of what to do and to contact them informing them once it was completed. However, upon arriving at my bank informed me that there was something wrong with the check. They then kept the check and sent back my identification. I contacted the supposed supervisor and the payment officer that I was instructed to inform afterward. Ted Mellors responded by saying that there is nothing wrong with the check however my bank informed me otherwise. So I feel it is important to report them because especially when there is a state of emergency for a virus that is killing people these people are taking advantage of people and putting their lives and, reputations at risk with my banking facility as well.
