I applied to this company through Indeed.com for a Video Editor Position. I was in email contact with one of their employees, who provided me with an offer letter detailing me the compensation and benefits for the position. They had also instructed me to deposit a check into my bank account to later be used to spend on purchase equipment from an unspecified vendor. My bank was able to determine that the check that was deposited was fake. In addition, Indeed had indicated that the company had decided not to process my application after they had made direct contact with me.
