I keep getting calls from 207-558-3916. Yesterday my caller id indicated it was from Millinocket Maine. Today caller id indicates from Portland Maine so of course since it is from Maine you will pick it up. Same male voice starts out with Hi I am from Trip Advisor on a recorded line Can you hear me ok? ( I answered Yes yesterday and then the next is I represent the (like older americans group like AARP something like that- we will give you a free trip to the Bahamas for two and all that we request is that you tell a few of your friends - can you do that? ( Again wants you to answer Yes to record your voice recognition and perhaps use that against you in monetary transactions - I am aware of the new voice technology being used when calling in for credit card activity or balances or questions on your account) Others call for education free scholarship money but for a small feel we will send you your scholarship check from the federal government. I am 56 I am not going back to college! You know the voices on the phone sound sincere but so may older trusting folks will get scammed in Maine while they are recording their voice recognition to steal their live savings Can you please see to it that this number is disconnected and can't bounce around from portal to portal?
