I am a police detective that received a report about this website selling pug puppies. Through an investigation with federal law enforcement, we have determined that this website is fraudulent and you will not receive any puppies in exchange for money. It is also a concern that the individuals running this website have multiple other websites pretending to be selling other types of animals. They are also using a fraudulent address to send people to in Maryland to pick up the animals if they opt not to have them "shipped" to them. The person living at the address in Maryland is not involved with the scam and is a victim himself with having multiple people showing up at his door to pick up animals that he has no knowledge of. It was reported as well that people from all over the US and Canada have been victims of this fraud from this website and websites similar directing them to the Maryland address.

I too was going to purchase a female black pug named Barbie. Initially all felt legit but over the past couple of days and Classic pug family communication was not specific.
I was waiting to hear shipping info and for some reason I found recent and similar comments on classic pug family - all dates are exactly the same. I have reported to FTC and Zelle. And will do all that I can to cause classic pug family problems

Contract seemed legit. Showed it to a breeder friend and she pointed out all the red flags. Emails not matching the Zelle, phone number not a working number. They couldn’t give me shipping agency. Couldn’t give me references. Poor grammar. Obviously someone using a translation app. Tried to sell us two dogs instead of the one. They still say they’re sending a dog but I doubt it

DO NOT BUY ANY DOGS FROM CLASSIC PUG FAMILY! They will take your money and you will not get a dog in return. The dog I supposedly purchased was never shipped yet they claim they are a legitimate business. STAY AWAY unless you like losing your money!

purchased a dog though Classic Pug Family in Pasadena MD on 5/21/2021. Classic Pug Family sent me a contract which I signed and returned on the same day. Classic Pug Family would only accept Zelle or PayPal. I paid the seller $900 through Zelle which included $650 for the dog (a 10-week old black pug) and $250 for shipping the dog. Classic Pug Family requested and received immediate proof of payment through a snapshot taken on my phone. Classic Pug Family stated the dog would be delivered the next day. Classic Pug Family chose to ship the dog through a company named Internations Shipping in Pasadena, MD. On 5/22/2021 at 2:50 pm, Internations Shipping, contacted me through email stating through the vet check, the dog required an air-conditioned crate in order to travel and I would need to rent it for $980. Internations Shipping stated their credit card link is down and only accepts Zelle or Bank Transfer. I sent Internations Shipping $500 through Zelle on 5/22/2021 and another $300 on 5/24/2021 through Zelle (with proof of payment through a snapshot on my phone as they requested). Internations Shipping stated they would cover the additional $180 needed to rent the crate as I stated I had no more cash to forward them. Internations Shipping stated in their email that I would receive 95% of my payment back once the dog was delivered. I contacted Classic Pug Family about this extra expense and they stated they did not have the funds to pay this, so that is why I paid it. On 5/24/2021, Internations Shipping emailed me at approximately 6:00 pm stating the dog was at the Pet Control Department at JFK Airport in NYC and required insurance of $1500 to be delivered. Internations Shipping only accepts Zelle or Bank Transfer as they stated their weblink for credit cards is not working (***********************************************************). I emailed a supervisor from Internations Shipping, Adam Joel, and he stated I could pay $750 instead of $1500 for insurance but only through Zelle or Bank transfer. I contacted Classic Pug Family again and they stated it my responsibility to pay the insurance fee although I paid the original $250 initially to Classic Pug Family to ship the dog to me. None of the additional fees for an air-conditioned crate ($980) or insurance ($750) were written or discussed prior to the purchase of the dog from Classic Pug Family or Internations Shipping. I have not paid this fee as of today, 5/25/2021 and do not have any type of documentation as proof the dog is at JFK Airport. Internations Shipping sent a tracking number stating the dog is "on hold" in New York waiting for payment of $1500.
