agreed purchase parrot for 750.00 off their website (smartbeaks. com) ((Claude & Shontel Family Aviary) and sent them a deposit of 400.00 by western union, which was picked up by a Batel Theodore from Florence, Alabama. They then texted me the next day that the shippers (FEdEX-petmovers) had picked up the bird for shipping. The shippers then contacted me with an invoice for a refundable 899.00 payment for shipping insurance. I refused to send anymore money and informed them that I would drive to Alabama to pick up the bird. After several texts from them trying to dissuade me from continuing my trip they would no longer answer their phone or respond to my texts. We drove 10 hours to Alabama and once there couldn't speak to the seller or the shippers. Addresses were non-existent and phone calls and texts were ignored.
