Clean Carts TM - fake online sales
Found what I thought was their official Instagram profile and got in contact.
Was asked to contact sales via whatsapp on the following number +1 (570) 218-2305. They were quick to respond with anything but were also pushing the sale requiring all payments be in BTC crypto.
We paid 2400 dollars to purchase bulk, but when it came to shipping the product it all became an obvious scam.
We received a link to expressdeliverymail.co which is a poorly made fake shipping website.
As soon as the package was supposedly handed over to the shipping agency we received a dodgy mail from expressdeliverymail.co saying we had to pay an additional 799 euros in insurance fee for the shipment to be cleared for customs and that it was to be paid in cryptos as well. And I had just paid another 105 dollars for express shipping.
Then I wrote back to the "sales team" on WhatsApp and complained about the additional 799 euros that expressdeliverymail.co requested since I had just paid them 105 dollars for express shipping.
They were quick to respond that they had sent 500 euros via cryptos to the shipper and that I only needed to pay the rest of 300 euros.
I asked on Whatsapp for the Bill of Lading to get some proof that they had actually shipped the product.
Their response was to call me creepy and dumb, subsequently demanding that I just pay the sum and get on with my life.
