There was an ad on Facebook that a family member clicked on, believing it to be a legitimate website selling lysol cleaning products. They use the logo of Lysol, however, the website itself is called clean.LOYSL.com, so it is lysol spelled incorrectly. They have the same images lysol uses for the products, and the website seems legit just looking at it. Upon closer inspection, the reviews on the site are fake. The reviews for each product are incorrectly paired to the wrong product, and are actually copied directly from websites (one was verbatim from a Walmart review). There are also several things spelled incorrectly on the webpage, text that should have a link to another page is not linked, and the contact information only allows you to email them.

As the family member was purchasing the products, the website stated that you had to make a purchase of $50+ in order to get free shipping, which is otherwise $20. Any product that is lightweight and coming from a legitimate company should not charge that amount for shipping as is.

The family member who was purchasing the cleaning products wanted them because they have not been able to find Lysol in stores for many months due to COVID19. This website is profiting off of people who are just trying to prevent the spread of COVID19, and that is disgusting.

I have also found that the scammers use another website that is identical to the clean.lysol.com, www.cleanula.com
