I was approached by a Clear representative at the airport on Friday 10/11/24 who signed me up for a product that has a two-week free trial period. They charged my credit card $199. The idea is that with this service, you can bypass TSA Pre-Check and go to the head of the line. So, I gave them my biodata--fingerprints and eyes and photo--and was supposed to be able to use this service on a return flight on 10/14/24 as well. When I went to the counter at LGA to return to Detroit, the rep told me they had all of my biodata and my email, but said I had to pay $199 to use the service. Every attempt I have made to create a login with my email has failed. I have requested numerous password resets but never receive a link to create an account. I have emailed the company twice and have heard nothing. If I cannot log into an account with the website, I cannot cancel the plan, which I fear may automatically renew. I have even downloaded the app so that I could try to cancel this. Crickets. I cannot access my "account" and I cannot cancel this "service." They do not respond to my emails asking for help. This is a huge scam with all kinds of consequences for my biodata. I am livid.

I WAS APPROACHED AT THE CINCINNATI AIRPORT ON MARCH 8TH 2024. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY "NO CHARGE", AS "CLEAR ME," WAS TESTING A WAY TO SHORTEN YOUR TIME IN LINE AT THE AIRPORT. ON 03/22/2024 CLEAR ME ATTEMPTED TO WITHDRAW $189.00 FROM MY ACCOUNT. MY BANK CAUGHT IT AND DECLINED THE WITHDRAWAL
