My profile is on Indeed for recruiters to view. Dylan text me about a position, and I agreed for an interview. When I checked the company website & FB page, it seemed likable and legit. However, this is not a position I applied for nor is it a position requiring my list of experiences. The interview is conducted over a messenger app: SIGNAL. Since this is a remote position, I assumed that is just a way to see how fast I can type & how efficient I am on apps. However, the questions were a combination of what I would expect & others including my mobile carrier and bank provider. Apparently, a check would be sent to create my mini-office at home. Feeling weird, I researched the company on ScamPulse.com & Reddit. They don't ask for SSN or bank account numbers. After reading the post on BBB, I contacted the interviewer saying please discard my information. They replied "Okay, no problem."
