She was referred to my Mother by a friend to remodel her kitchen. The scammer met with us and measured the kitchen, prepared a written and image contract and sent the image to my mothers email. She then met with us to go over the written contract, sign and gave a check for the first deposit. A permit was needed for some of the work. She stated she would request for the permit. I checked the web site for a request and there was no request for one. She lied and said it was taking time for them to get it made. She took 3 months before we found out she never planned to do the work. She strung us along with lies. When we canceled the work and ask for the money she gave more lies. We never got the money back.
