On July 13, 2018 I contacted my internet provider, Frontier, because my 3 televisions did not work. I do not have cable with them, only phone and internet and I use Slinge TV and Netflix streaming programs. None of my TVs would work. I called the Frontier phone number that I got on-line as I did not have a current bill with a number. After explaining the problem to the tech support individual, Dave Wilson, ID 4942001, he was unable to help me and passed me over to Cloud Com. After explaining my problem to the man who answered, he said he had to take hold of my computer to solve the issue as my computer was being hacked by people in New Mexico. The cost would be $1400. I said I could not afford that, but he said since I was a senior citizen, I could write a check for $999.99, scan it and email payment. I was so frustrated at that point that I fell for his scheme. Before I sent it, I told him I was concerned that this was a scam, but he assured me that since Frontier forwarded my call to him, it could not possibly be. Also, he send me a contract indicating his services. After several days, my TVs were still not working. I called and they scheduled a home visit for Tuesday, July `17, at 4:00. Of course, no one showed up and that's when I knew I had definitely been scammed. I have already dealt with Frontier and they claim the number I called was one of their legitimate numbers nor did their company have any contract to outsource to Cloud Com. I filed a complaint with Iowa's State Agency and they told me I had to file with New York, which I did. They have now turned my information over to the Federal Trade Commission. CloudCom needs to be held accountable and reported to your bureau. Also, their website claims that their services are considerably lower than what I paid, and I have found no spot on their site where I can file a review of their company. Please respond to this email.

This place is a scam!! They take over you computer and then charge you for protection, mainly from them. Their service is a spyware, malicious code filled monstrosity that only does harm for people, not good.a return email address for complaints and their telephone number is forwarded to some call center in India. So if you're in the market to be ripped off by foreigners, then this may be the service for you.

Their phone contact is 1-855-475-4777. They are scammers trying to convince you that you have a virus on your computer and a foreign address has hacked your computer. They will try to convince you that they can clean up your computer for a fee. They will tell you to send a money order for their service. They will claim to e connected with Turbo Tax.

I had no dial tone on landline phone. Googled Verizon landline and called number listed. Person answered as Verizon and gave me Verizon employee number. Gave access to computer and told landline was hacked 9 times in New Mexico. Since this was a security issue involving the IP address referred me to Cloud Com Technology even showed me the website. Told it would cost $1499.00. After 4 hours on computer still no dial tone this agent went to Verizon website and with my imput set up apt for Verizon to come next day . Told to write check, and it was scanned.

Next morning I called Verizon security and they did not concur landline hacking. I stopped payment on the check in time. Verizon fixed the problem. Got f/u call from Clood Com tech did not take it. Month later got email inquiring on payment. Will ignore and monitor.

I received an offer in the mail to renew my Midwest Living Magazine. I was going to mail it, but then I saw that I could renew it on their site on the internet. So I went to the website and renewed and pushed submit. Then it showed me the transaction I just did. It had renewed 5 different magazines and charged me $122.97. So I looked up the # for Midwest Living and called and was on hold for 15 minutes. When they picked up I explained my situation and I wanted to cancel 4 of the 5. Well the person put me on with tech support and they asked my permission to check my machine, cause they found evidence of hacking. So I said yes. and more evidence came up supporting I was hacked. They fully explained it to me that it was in my firewall, but they knew a company that worked on this type of thing and they got them on the phone. They explained it would take 1 - 2 hours and would be $300.Then all would be good. So I saw all my account info, bookkeeping, email, etc., going down the drain to an assumed identity. So I ok'd it, and they took control of my computer while I watched all this hacking evidence go by. When they were done, they told me about their 3 levels of protection, $349.00; $549.00; $799.00. I said I'd do the cheapest for 3 years of protection. So they had me write a check to them fo $649.00 then put it on our scanner and they took control of that and scanned it so that they got the copy of the written check. Then they gave me my control back of my computer and thanked me and said all was well. Well a few things were bothering me about the way it was all handled and I went to the ScamPulse.com site and found evidence that this group had scammed myself and others also. So I just wasn't thinking and they got me. Please don't let them get you too!

I was having problems with my computer regarding pop ups. Called my cable company and they transferred me to a cloud com technologies in which the guy with cable company said that they recommend. After connected with company they asked for control of computer in order to help me. Before paying for these services, I asked for an invoice to check them out. It showed to be a legitimate company on the internet. While in my computer they set up a bill pay in order for my bank to pay them $ 799.99. Had no problem with my computer until I called on August 23, 2018 and asked for tech help.They told me they would call me back. I was called back by a person stating his name is James. They scammed me for $ 3000.00 out of my checking account. I felt so stupid to fall for this. Can you help me?

Computers were running slow, trouble connecting WiFi. Called Spectrum Tech Support and was connected to Cloudcom Technologies. Was told my IP address was hacked and being used in Ohio, South Carolina and foreign country. Thinking this was Spectrum, I let them connect to my computer to fix. Afterward, scanned a check for payment of invoice which was emailed to me. Learning more and suspecting fraud, I called to cancel the check but it had been transacted. Googled company address and it appeared to be a barn in the IA countryside. Got a call from a local 619 area number and another from a 408 area asking to let them connect to my computer, but I did not. Calling the IA number got a "not in service" recording from phone company. Email to their support address was not acknowledged.

call to Comcast customer service to report 'no signal' from cable box to TV---obtained phone number on-line as listed as Comcast Customer service, person answering stated my computer had been hacked and gain access to my computer by stated was a customer service rep. referred me to Cloud Com technologies stating they were their preferred provider to clear my computer of those attempting to or had hacked it and set-up a 2 yr security protection plan. I was ask to pay 399.99$ for the service, which I did--was in a state of anxiety . Had called Comcast 2x prio and had gotten the same information. Which is ALLL a fraud. have. placed a stop-payment on check shortly after and notified my bank and Comcast of incident.

My elderly mother was intercepted by some sort of scam while attempting to transfer retirement funds due to my father's recent death. It seems to have happened during a phone call. They ended up getting access to her computer and asked her to scan a check made out to them for $1,499. They read the check information from the scanner (not sure how this can happen). They said they would clean up the computer and she would have a lifetime warranty that she would never have issues again. We froze the bank account before the funds transferred. She is getting emails from them asking to provide additional service.

I called Roku, but was rerouted to the above business and a rep told me my computer had viruses, etc., and that they could fix the problems. In the end I sent them a personal check for $498.97 to the address in Otley, IA. I want a refund as they've only made matters worse. They've promised my refund check "is in the mail", but that was weeks ago. I have since realized this was a scam all along, and have changed my bank account number, etc.
