CMS Resumes is a company that some say is part of a scam involving fake recruiters and resume formatting. The scam involves a recruiter contacting a job seeker and asking for their resume, then telling them that it's not compatible with an applicant tracking system (ATS). The recruiter then directs the job seeker to CMS Resumes, which offers ATS formatting services for a fee. However, some say that the formatting is unnecessary and that the service is a dishonest way to get money and personal information.
To ensure a resume is ATS-compliant, it's recommended to use simple formatting, a clear layout, and conventional headings. It's also important to include relevant keywords from the job description in a natural way. Some say that resumes that aren't formatted correctly or don't include the right keywords might not be seen by a human recruiter. Jobscan is one resume checker that can help job seekers optimize their resumes by comparing them to job descriptions. Resumes that score 80% or higher are likely to be seen by a human recruiter, while resumes that score 20% or lower are usually rejected.

Big red flag because you don’t have a phone number or website!

This did not work out as well. Issue does not relate to the file format. Your resume is supposed to be optimized for ATS. Please optimize your CV by the recommended website, and send it back to me so that I can speed things up with a client.
