They are combing the Secretary of State for new business filings and then offer to send you a Certificate of Good Standing for $74.50 on ivory cardstock paper. These certificates are NOT REQUIRED and are FREE from the Secretary of State.

CO Services on 1550 Larimer St #295 Denver, CO 80202, mailed a "official" form via USPS to my newly formed LLC. This form asked for confirmation of my company's information and also a fee of $74.50. Upon receiving this mail I researched the company to find it is not affiliated with the State of Colorado and that this was an attempt to extort money from my company by posing as a government agency.
