I had bought a teacup yorkie from a breeder in Texas, which is about 900 miles from me. The breeder said she would put my puppy on a flight and I should get him the next day. Well I received a call first from Pet Shippers which is a form of Coastal Logistics Shipping out of Richmond, VA saying they had sent me an email with information for the shipping. In the email they stated that according to new pet shipping laws that my puppy had to have a special air conditioning crate instead of the one he came in. Well the price to rent it was $1445 with 98% refundable. I emailed them back and told them there was no way I could come up with that. I emailed the breeder and she agreed to pay $850 and I was able to come up with $595. Well then they said that my puppy needed a corona vaccine and that price was $998 with refund of $990 upon delivery of my puppy. I told them once again that I didn’t have that much and they said if I can come up with $500 and I sent it through money gram and they said my puppy would be delivered. I received notice that the money hadn’t been picked up and I had to cancel that. I got the $500 back which made them mad, because I didn’t hear anything for a couple of days and then got another text message stating that I had to pay the $500 or the puppy wouldn’t be delivered. I told them I didn’t have it and he asked if I could do $275 and he guaranteed me that my puppy and the money would be delivered to me the next morning. Well needless to say they are know asking for $175 for feeding and boarding before he could be delivered. I told them no that they had gotten all they were going to get and I haven’t heard back from them.
