I received an email from Audrey McGee thanking me for my application and inviting me to join her for an on-line interview:

"We have reviewed your application for the Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant position you applied for at Cognizant Technology Solutions as well as your resume and cover letter. As a result, I would like to invite you for an Online interview with our Senior Manager, Executive Recruitment at Cognizant Ms. Audrey McGee on Google Hangout ASAP during these working business hours MON-FRI (8:00am-5:00pm), SAT (9:00am-4:00pm) Eastern Standard Time.

Expect the interview to last for about 45 minutes. Please bring along with you a list of references and your drivers license. Kindly setup a Gmail account if you don't have one then setup a Google hangout with the link:https://hangouts.google.c om/

I already have a Google account so I logged in and send an invitation to Audrey. Our "interview" lasted over an hour:

Me: My computer skills cover Mac applications as well as Microsoft. I am advanced in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.

I have held positions where a multi line phone was necessary to field and screen calls and forward them on to executive level staff. A high volume of calls is not a problem nor is the interaction with multiple situations and personality of callers.

I think working as a team is the best situation for success, that is an environment that best suits me. I believe in the best companies every member of the team is important and vital to achieving goals.

My greatest strength is organization. I am capable of multi tasking, keeping on the pulse of several projects at once. Having a "can do" attitude and working well with others to achieve our goals and accomplish with best results possible.

I am not currently employed, I am working on my children's school campus as an Art Docent director of the program and on the PTA as Parliamentarian.

I can be flexible for overtime that may occur.

I work well under pressure, can make light of a stressful situation or condition. I think I've fine tuned that with having raised twin girls.

I love working with diverse group of people. That is one of the reasons I have gotten so involved in the Elementary School. The parents are all from such different upbringing, diverse cultures and multi facets of personality.

You will be getting these working materials and software programs from the company's certified and trusted vendor which specialize in these working materials & software programs. The company have been patronizing and buying from this software vendor for so many years now and has a good relationship with our firm.

Your Offer Letter and W-4 form will be sent via email ,other official documents will be coming through the mail via FedEx or USPS.

On Jan. 29th I received a FedEx package with a letter and a "Cashier's Check" for $2999.00. "Remitter: Julie Ledbetter" The letter is not on letter head, it is signed by Mr. Michael Rodgers, Payment Department. They are asking me to email that I have received the check and email a deposit slip to him "ASAP" at [email protected] The check is from Mission Federal Credit Union PO Box 919023 San Diego, CA (which is a legit bank, routing numbers are real, address matches website)
