I was looking for someone to install Kitchen Range Chimney Hood professionally . I submitted a request in Angi. ******* *******, CEO of Cochren Facility management called me and came to my house, evaluated the work, provided quote ($1750) and I accepted after several email interactions and phone calls. According to the quote i received via email, and agreement verbally, I need to pay 50% upfront ($875). Rey sent me a link to make 50% payment electronically. But he tricked me by putting a link which would take 100% of the money ($1750) immediately. I called Rey right away on this and he told me that he issued a credit of $875 to my credit card which didn't happen. The work was scheduled to start on January 6th Saturday around 7AM but no one showed up. I called Rey and also emailed him several times (January 6th morning) and got hold of him and asked about 50% payment reimbursement and the work. He started evading my request and then I realized he is a crook. I sent an official email to cancel the work (which didn't start) and refund my money, $1750 immediately. He called me right away and told me that he is having some financial problem and he needs to move some money and will issue credit on January 8th Monday. But he didn't issue credit. Then I called my credit card company and put a dispute and hoping I will get my money through the dispute from my credit card company.

I want to make sure that these kind of cheaters has to be stopped to save other people. I hope ScamPulse.com would bring this to public attention. Thank you.
