Received a call from "Nick" from "Coinbase." He claimed that there was activity on my account where I normally log in from [MY STATE], but someone had logged in from [ANOTHER STATE].

He provided ticket # 129748 in case we get disconnected.

Then, he proceeded to get me to verify account information to ensure he had the correct person on the phone.

I said that it doesn't work that way, and he had to prove he was from Coinbase.

After I refused a second attempt, he cursed me out and hung up.

About a month or so ago I was a victim of a scam and gave the scammer my banking info which I do regret so I decided to change my password twice and thought I was done with it. Fast forward to today when I received a phone call from my credit union informing me that there has been unusual activity on my account and was accused of fraud and told that my account would be frozen and then after two weeks my would be closed and they send me a check for the balance. So I went to my credit union and got a printout of all the transactions and I'm very lucky enough to have kept receipts and remembered a lot of the places where I spent my money as well as what I purchased. So upon the advice of my credit union, I went and filed a police report as well as the credit union. I have reached out to Coinbase many times and as soon as I am done I just get the generic "Thank you for the email and we are working on fixing your issue." or something to that effect and nothing else.

.It all started when I heard this supposedly Singapore girl chatting online about this investment. She talked me into investing $3,000 into liquidity mining by purchasing USDC cryptocurrency from the Crypto app and then transferring it to the Coinbase wallet app. Well, the investment grew rather quickly and I decided to invest $18,000 into it by purchasing USDC cryptocurrency from the Crypto app and then transferring it to the Coinbase wallet app. The investment grew at an unbelievable rate and I needed to take out a large withdrawal. I went into the Coinbase wallet account and tried to make a large withdrawal and it failed. So, I then went to online customer service and asked why my withdrawal had failed. They said I owed 15% of my earnings for supposedly capital gains taxes. So, I scraped up the funds and paid over $6,000 to Coinbase wallet through a transfer of USDC cryptocurrency from the Crypto app. Coinbase wallet app online customer service then tells me my taxes are paid but I need to inject (deposit) 20% of my account value (close to $60,000) in order to withdraw any funds. I now am broke and have a scam of a $60,000 account that I don’t know what to do with. I am NOT going to get taxed for this account!!!

I received this message stating that I "Sent a Payment of $725.16 USD to Bitcoin Inc. But that if I "havent made this purchase call Coinbase immediately at

1-855-593-6633 to report and block the transaction."

The message also stated "Not sure why you received this email? Call Coinbase support immediately at +1-855-593-6633." and it had a link that could be followed just by clicking on it.

On February 8, My coinbase account was compromised by Asian Coinbase employees overseas, which resulted of a total loss of my entire portfolio. Contacted the company, within a minute of the hack to restore my positions., Coinbase support team guaranteed my position to be restored in full. After a week, coinbase support team acknowledged the breach and reported they were not able to restored my account.

They allowed scammers into my account from their horrible and poor security system I have several other financial apps on my phone so if they actually hacked me they would’ve been able to get into all of my accounts but they only had Coinbase they transferred all of my Shibu Inu crypto into bitcoin without ever notifying me and then they sent the bitcoin out of my account without notifying me and then they attempted to take $100 out of my PayPal account buy bitcoin with it and ship that out of my account too!

I was trying to get some information on my account to win my funds will be available to use after my deposit was on hold. I called customer service and they demanded my last four of my social security number.

I told them I never gave them my last four digits. Total scam after they backed out of it after I confronted her about it. Total scam.

Coin base can look up my account through my email **********@aol.com

I’m sure they have a note to whom I talk to at 5 AM Tuesday morning.

I truly believe they tried to get extra information for criminal identity use in the future.

Thanks for your help.

I hope she gets thrown in jail!

I was using coinbase buying and started to sell my crypto’s and the screen went blank one day and I have been trying to get help as this is money I am living on I had sold two different crypto’s and then that happened about a week later website keeps giving me options I don’t understand. No live agents for Canada. Just options that don’t help me. What can I do about this?

April 30 was the last day I checked the Coinbase page to check my account statement when I tried to check the account on May 3 I detected that I was blocked by the same company for 7 days and I checked my bank account and they took out 300 dollars from my own account without authorization. Since in these apps like Coinbase they ask you for your account number and the bank's route to invest in electronic currencies and the worst thing is when they unlock my account 7 days later I realize that they emptied my account with more than 3000 dollars, plus of 3,000 dollars and there is no way to claim since the phone they give you there are only three options but those options do not speak of a scam solution. And this means ScamPulse.com is the only option so that they give me back what was stolen ... what COINBASE I STOLE.

I deposited over 3K with and they stole my money. My account was hacked and I have tried for over 3 weeks to resolve.

I deposited $50 into my coinbase. I was watching it for about a hour it went up about $3. The next time I got on it was literally gone. And coinbase is now telling me that I owe them $50. These are there words exactly ( On April 23, 2021, you attempted a transfer of $50.00 USD. Unfortunately, the transfer failed due to either a lack of funds or a technical problem with the transfer itself.) there was no problem I seen the deposit with my own eyes. Coinbase just stole from me. DO NOT USE COINBASE

On Saturday 4/24/21 my account got hacked from a person with a IP address from the UK they swindled $500.00 USD out of my bank account bought Bitcoin and immediately transfer the BTC into their wallet. How can a person with a UK IP address access my account it should have been flagged immediately. It has happened to many others from what I have read it's a security breach and hackers will keep on stealing if this situation doesn't get resolved.

I have an account with Coinbase fully verified and setup with a 2FA security feature including google authenticator. Somehow someone "internally" made a purchase with one of my 2 linked bank accounts and purchased thousands of dollars worth of bitcoin. They never notified me. I got into my account a few days ago and I found out that my previous portfolio balance (over $10,000 dollars just disappeared). When I noticed the fraudulent purchase, I remove my linked accounts and file a complaint against this company. They replied with a generic response and locked me out of my account. I sent continuous communications without response. I had my Bank involved at this point and they are investigating. They cannot claim lack of security since I am a tech person and have other exchanges with the same security setup. Reviews in Reddit, TrustPilot and other forum platforms show similar customer experiences. Stay far away from this scam firm.

I have been using this website for one day and when it tells you what the purchase price is of the cryptocurrency and then what the prices when it actually goes through on a trade or a Fiat purchase it goes up between 5 and 10% in addition to being charged a fee. I have this documented it is disgusting and there's nobody to report it to and there's nobody or a format in which you can report it because there is no subject matter for this.

The scam, I believe, starts with a Gmail hack and linked to Coinbase. The odd thing is how did they get past two-factor authentication (2FA). The other thing not explained by Coinbase is that I noticed the hack on the same day and within hours of the hack and immediately locked my account. It seems also odd that when I sold an asset the process took not hours but certainly more than a day for it to clear the funds. Of course, I do not hear from Coinbase after locking my account and submitting a notice to Coinbase via their online help form and telephone request to lock the account. As of now, I have no access to my account or any meaningful info from Coinbase.
