A trusted friend had posted on their social media account how they invested in bitcoin mining and received a huge profit. I had seen where multiple people had done this and all seemed well and they received money. However when I went to invest they said you could invest with a small amount and work your way up to investing larger. I could fathom a risk of $500 not $2000. So I invested the $500 in bitcoin, created the account for them to say I must “update my account and pay so much money to receive my full investment”

This is where it became super sketchy why would you not be able to use the money already profited/invested to upgrade the account. They assured me once i give them $1500 more my account will be unfrozen and I will be able to access all of the money.

I have not and will not give them more money. I am going to take the $500 loss and warn people not to do this in the future.

I also have screenshots of messages and such from this person via social media.
